12 SEPTEMBER | Multifunctional space of Vila Pouca de Aguiar will stage Maike Calvão’s performance
The artist Maike Calvão will perform on Monday, September 12th, at 10:30am, in the Multifunctional Space, in Vila Pouca de Aguiar. A show held under the project Alto Tâmega – ArtFest, initiative of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT).
The Project ArtFest (NORTE-04-2114-FEDER-000455) foresees the realization of 48 moments of cultural promotion and animation of the territory, involving musical and theatre groups, folklore ranches, and dance academies, supporting the cultural agents of the region which were strongly affected by the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
The main objective is the promotion and touristic valorization of the cultural patrimony of Alto Tâmega being that, for such, presents a net cultural program involving the 6 municipalities of Alto Tâmega (Boticas, Chaves, Montalegre, Ribeira de Pena, Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar), promoting the animation of cultural spaces (auditoriums, theatres, multipurpose rooms, multipurpose rooms and other enclosures of shows), as well as the municipal museums or museological spaces.
