Tresminas Roman Gold Complex

$1 por pessoa

The Tresminas Roman Mining Complex represents one of the most important gold explorations of the Roman Empire.

The 1st and 2nd centuries AD saw intense mining activity, mainly for the exploration of gold, but also of other ores, such as silver and lead.

Currently, the Interpretive Center and the signposted trails allow an interpreted visit to this public Roman mine, from the viewpoints over the pits to the incursion into the underground galleries, in the company of a guide.
