São Lourenço Viewpoint

The Miradouro de S. Lourenço is a pleasant spot with an unobstructed view over the entire city of Chaves. If you look further out, you can glimpse towns in neighbouring Spain. In winter, when the city is immersed in fog, the sun shines brighter here. On warm summer evenings you can always feel a light breeze flowing overhead. In spring and autumn we are treated to vibrant colours and intoxicating smells from everything in sight.
