Póvoa’s Necropolis
por pessoa
Graves dug into the granite rock that may have formed part of a medieval cemetery. Out of a total of four visible specimens, two still have an anthropomorphic shape and the rest are partially visible. It is located next to a path with the marks of cart wheels that was part of the old royal road linking Minho to Trás-os-Montes. This road was the region’s main link from the Middle Ages until the end of the 19th century.
