Portuguese Way of Santiago Interior
por pessoa
Designed with medieval origins, used by pilgrims from the south of Spain, it runs through the extensive Aguiar valley, on a smooth and pleasant journey, along the Corgo and Avelames rivers. Currently, it is marked between Viseu and Chaves. Along the way we can observe a beautiful landscape, where the Alvão and Padrela mountains contrast on the horizon, and agricultural land alternates with oak groves and chestnut trees. The path coincides with the main road defining the territory, since Roman times.
Camino de Santiago certified at national level.
