Pedro’s House
$1 por pessoa
In the village of Vilarinho Seco, in Boticas, this house has a dining room hidden in a beautiful patio typical of a family home that is more than 300 years old. Pedro and Ana built this restaurant in the ’90s. They are farmers, producers of vegetables, Bísaro and Barrosã pork. To Mr. Pedro’s most incredible pride are his cured hams, while Dona Ana is especially proud of making alheiras, which she didn’t think were any better. He passed the knowledge on to his children, Alda and Pedro. Today they are the ones who take care of the kitchen of this jewel of Alto Tâmega. To remove the doubts, taste both pitéus and don’t leave until you eat the real cozido barrosão and then say you’re going from here! Reservations strongly advised
