Mourela Plateau Interpretive Centre

Located in an old forestry house in the Peneda-Gerês National Park and Gerês-Xurês Biosphere Reserve, the centre focuses on land management techniques. Through its permanent exhibitions, audiovisuals, gatherings and educational activities, this centre recalls, disseminates and teaches the balance between man and ancestral community practices. With a strong pedagogical focus, it aims to educate for sustainability, demonstrating its importance for the local population in the conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
