Flavian Region Museum – Palace of the Dukes of Bragança

Located in the former Paço dos Duques de Bragança, originally built to house D. Afonso, 1st Duke of Bragança, the Flaviense Region Museum aims to raise awareness of the region’s history.
The museum has a permanent collection on display that offers visitors a vast collection, with pieces dating from the 3rd century BC to pieces from the Romanisation period.
Of particular note are the collections related to the Roman World, one of the most complete and interesting collections in this area.
