Cela Cavalos Waterfall

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park (PNPG), next to the picturesque village of Cela, you’ll find this natural gem in the municipality of Montalegre. It’s a small waterfall that is subdivided into multiple waterfalls, culminating in a small lagoon of crystal-clear water. A bucolic place perfect for contemplation, enjoyment and connecting with nature in all its splendour. Just over 1.5 kilometres from the village, access is easy and guided by the sound of the waterfall from the chapel of Santa Luzia.
