Classified as a ‘Property of Public Interest’ in 1951, it stands overlooking the valley of the Ribeira das Lameiras, in the vicinity of the Carvalhelhos spa. Built during the Iron Age, it had a fortification system consisting of three wall belts and three excavated moats, preceded by a field of embedded stones.
