Bustelo Mills

Located along the River Lourêdo is a group of mills that reveal the energy that characterises this watercourse. Made up of thirteen structures, it features several mills taking advantage of the terrain’s orography with the help of small levadas.
There is a mill with three millstones, testimony to the productive capacity of other times, and a pisão, a structure that allowed the quality of the woollen blankets to be worked with the help of the force of the water.
