The new Alto Tâmega e Barroso Tourist Office, built in Jardim do Tabolado, aims to convey an intangible dimension that defines the region. The building is located in a clearing next to the two roads that define the boundaries of the park. This project is a large, simple open space that occupies almost the entire area intended for the showroom. The circular shape is fundamental for the harmonious integration of the space in the park and in the surrounding nature. Transparency aims to promote an immediate connection with the visitor. The surface of the water mirror is a conceptual reference and a symbol of the Alto Tâmega e Barroso region and its thermal springs.
