Valpaços | Inter-municipal Senior Sports Meet

The event will bring together over a thousand senior citizens, aged 65 and over, and staff from more than a dozen local authorities, offering a day dedicated to socialising, physical activity, culture and community entertainment.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including physical exercise classes, an Olympic parade, musical entertainment and a cultural visit, in an atmosphere of sharing and friendship between municipalities.

To take part in this initiative, which forms part of the CLDS 5G programme and is organised by Valpaços Municipal Council, you must register at your local parish council or the organisation you attend. The main objectives of the initiative are to promote active ageing, well-being and the strengthening of inter-municipal relations, whilst valuing the participation of the older generation in the community.
