Montalegre | Notes from everyday life
As part of the Roteiro das Minas Partners’ Week, the Barroso Ecomuseum – Borralha Mines Interpretation Centre will be offering a varied programme of activities between 23 and 29 March (see our previous post from 25 February).
Among the various activities available, two of them, although free of charge, require registration.
On 25 March, you can spend the day with a former worker from these old tungsten mines. The activity, the poster for which is published here, is scheduled to start at 3.00 pm. To take part, register at https://forms.gle/dj2cdSkyDKWef68CA.
On 27 March, we will open the doors of buildings that are normally closed for a guided tour of the main parts of this former mining district. Register at https://forms.gle/pM9HvYr9CktgxLNj9.
On Saturday 28 March, the temporary exhibition ‘Notas do Quotidiano’ will open, presenting a collection of photographs depicting the daily life of our community.
