Montalegre | Exhibition “After School – News from Barroso”

From 18 September, the Barroso Ecomuseum – Espaço Padre Fontes will host the exhibition “After School – News from Barroso” by photographer Pauliana Valente Pimentel. The exhibition brings together photographs taken with young people from Montalegre, depicting their daily lives outside school and their relationship with the landscape, the villages, the animals, the traditions and contemporary experiences of the region.

As part of the Rota do Sentir project, the exhibition also pays tribute to the newspaper “Notícias de Barroso”, founded by Father António Fontes.

On 19 September, at 5.00 pm, there will be a guided tour with the artist and a discussion with the young people taking part in the project.

The Rota do Sentir is a project by Rota Clandestina, funded by the Directorate-General for the Arts and supported by the municipality of Montalegre.
