Montalegre | Beyond the Mountain

The spirit of our age-old traditions is still captured through Tiago’s lens; on behalf of the Vezeira Association and the people of Fafi, we are grateful for these images, which may well be ‘the things’ that might one day – though we hope not – disappear. An exceptional signature exhibition remains at our ecomuseum, to be viewed and revisited with special care until 5 October.

The Vezeira das Vacas remains an icon of our village, steeped in tradition; if you get the chance, do pop in. Here is a record by Mr Guilherme, one of the oldest Vezeireiros who stubbornly carries on. And we, too, proudly carry on.
