Zé Amaro, passionate about music and life, is a singer-songwriter who has brought a fresh approach to Portuguese music, developing his own style incorporating country rhythms more commonly associated with North American and Brazilian music. As a pioneering country singer in Portugal, it took a great deal of hard work and dedication to win over the Portuguese public with his distinctive musical style, and today he is Portugal’s best-known cowboy.
The “Emigrants’ Festival 2026” aims to be an event for reunions, socialising and a return to one’s roots, as well as a landmark occasion for promoting the region.
