The Library offers the youngest an hour of discovery and imagination, as part of the promotion of reading, with a view to encouraging the sharing of books.

‘Here we are’, text and illustrations by Oliver Jeffers Synopsis: “The world can seem very confusing, especially if we’ve only just arrived here. To understand it better, let’s explore our planet and see how we live.
Target audience: Pre-school

‘John and the Magic Beanstalk’, text by Richard Walker and illustrations by Niamh Sharkey. Synopsis: ‘Get ready to embark on a magical adventure with John and find out what happens when he faces the unknown and climbs the beanstalk that stretches up to the sky.’
