The Library offers the youngest an hour of discovery and imagination, as part of the promotion of reading, with a view to encouraging the sharing of books.
‘The bee’, text by Kirsten Hall and illustrations by Isabelle Arsenault. Synopsis: ‘The bee is one of the most admirable creatures in the world… but it’s in danger.’

‘The day the pencils gave up’, text by Drew Daywalt and illustrations by Oliver Jeffers. Synopsis: ‘One day, Duarte’s crayons said “Enough!” and gave up… At school, when he opened the crayon box, Duarte found a ream of letters with his name on them. The pencils decided to write to him and complain.’
