Chaves | Our Artists – ‘Pinturas Soltas’ by Ana Justo

The exhibition, which is free to enter, is open Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00, and on Saturdays from 09:30 to 13:00.

Ana Justo was born in 1984 in Boticas. She studied Fine Arts in Porto and at ESAD Caldas da Rainha. She worked at the children’s and young adult bookshop Papa Livros (Porto), an experience that deepened her appreciation and knowledge of illustration and the world of drawing.
In 2014, she founded her studio, Casa das Pinturas, on a family farm in Boticas. Throughout her career, she has developed her artistic work and taken part in exhibitions and cultural projects in the region, maintaining strong ties to Barroso and its community.
