St John the Baptist Church

The small Romanesque church of São João Baptista, located on a small rural plain in Flavi, was built at an undetermined time in the Lower Middle Ages, generally in the 13th-14th centuries. It is a small temple with a longitudinal floor plan, comprising a single nave and a lower, narrower chancel, to which is added a sacristy with a presumably bell tower. The main façade has a single curtain wall, opened by an axial portal with a round arch surmounted by a circular oculus.
