St James Church

This church, built in the 18th century, is notable for the granite images on the façade – Saint Barbara and Saint James – and a Christ sculpted by a local craftsman. Seara Velha is crossed by pilgrims whose goal is Compostela to worship St James, which is why the local church was dedicated to this saint.
