Sanctuary of São Caetano

The Sanctuary is approximately 13km from the city of Chaves. Its origins date back to the Visigothic era and it is dedicated to São Caetano. It is in this pleasant place, with large, leafy trees, that the great annual flaviense pilgrimage takes place on Sunday, August 7th or, when August 7th does not coincide with Sunday, on the first Sunday following August 7th. attracting countless pilgrims.
