Our Lady of the Snows Chapel

Located in the village of Vilar de Perdizes, it is a 16th century chapel with a common type of religious architecture. Its uniqueness lies in the mural paintings of exceptional quality and detail inside. Organised in a tripartite structure, the central panel depicts the Eternal Father, while the others show the Miracle of Our Lady of the Snows, with the foundation of the church of Santa Maria Magiore in Rome.
