Ecomuseu de Barroso – Vezeira e a Serra

Located in the village of Fafião, it combines pastoral activity with tourist activity, contributing to the balance and sustainable development of the region. An interpretative center in Serra do Gerês, which deals with community practices, an identity characteristic of Barroso, whose main objective is to alleviate the needs, characteristics of agro-pastoral communities, such as the lack of resources and labor. In order to bring visitors closer to local communities and their practices, they develop various activities throughout the year and have a set of themed routes.
