Barrondas Waterfall

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, it is one of the many exquisite waterfalls that spring up in the municipality of Montalegre. Surrounded by the majestic and rich native flora of the region, you can find this waterfall after a short and accessible walking route of approximately 2 kilometres. We also recommend a visit to the village where you can find the people’s Ox Tower and witness the daily life of a traditional Barroso village.
