La prueba portuguesa, que también sigue formando parte del Campeonato Europeo de Rallycross, acogerá una de las cinco pruebas del calendario mundial, divulgado por la FIA, que también incluye carreras en Suecia, Hungría, Bélgica y Australia. La nueva era del World RX enfrentará a coches eléctricos y de combustión en un espectáculo sin precedentes.\n
