On October 6 and 7 (Friday and Saturday), Largo da Feira, in the city of Valpa\u00e7os, will host the 1st Aqua Wine Fest, an event entirely dedicated to the wines and waters of the Alto T\u00e2mega e Barroso region.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both days will open to the public at 4pm, but the official opening session is scheduled for 6pm on October 6 and will feature speeches by the Mayor of Valpa\u00e7os, Am\u00edlcar Almeida, the President of the Alto T\u00e2mega e Barroso Intermunicipal Community (CIMAT), Alberto Machado, the First Executive Secretary of CIMAT, Ramiro Gon\u00e7alves, the President of the Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes Regional Wine Commission, Francisco Pav\u00e3o, the President of the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission, Ant\u00f3nio Cunha, and the Secretary of State for Regional Development, Isabel Ferreira. The closing ceremony will take place at 00:00 on both days.
\nAttendees will have 25 wine producers and three water companies from the region at their disposal (confirmed so far), and there will also be regional cuisine and musical entertainment.
\nThis is an initiative organized by CIMAT, with the support of the Municipality of Valpa\u00e7os and the Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes Regional Wine Commission.
