As part of the exhibition \u2018\u00c1lvaro Lapa \u2013 Modernidade Platex\u2019, on display at MACNA \u2013 the Nadir Afonso Museum of Contemporary Art, the Serralves Education Service, in partnership with the Municipality of Chaves, will be organising a series of themed activities aimed at different audiences.<\/p>\n
On 8 May, a training session will be held for teachers, educators, specialists, cultural practitioners and other interested parties. The initiative aims to promote the sharing of pedagogical tools and methods for understanding and engaging with the exhibition through theoretical and practical activities. Registration is free, and the training will take place from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, and includes a certificate of attendance.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, 9 May, from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, a Family Workshop will take place. Drawing on \u00c1lvaro Lapa\u2019s unique visual language, characterised by the relationship between image and word and the dialogue between visual arts, philosophy and literature, participants will be invited to transform images into words and words into images. Through drawing, writing and collage, the artist\u2019s creative universe will be explored, culminating in the creation of a personal notebook.<\/p>\n
On the same day, at 3.00 pm, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition, offering an in-depth exploration of \u00c1lvaro Lapa\u2019s work and artistic career.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
