J.B. C\u00e9sar’s latest book, entitled \u2018Nada Muda Tudo\u2019, will be presented in Chaves on 2 November at the Museu da Regi\u00e3o Flaviense, at 16h00.
\nAccording to professor and writer Manuel Ant\u00f3nio Ara\u00fajo, who will present the work, \u2018the antithesis present in the title of this novel can be considered a summary of the diegetic core of the work. Belief and disbelief, the spiritual and the temporal, the esoteric and the lapidary\u2019.
\nThe narrator invites the reader to enjoy the esoteric path of the vials that illuminate the souls of the foolish and the blessed, giving them the eschatological nothingness they contain. Opposition between faith and rationality, between seriousness and pantomime, between greed and poverty, up to the promiscuity of religion with money\u2019.
\nJ. B. C\u00e9sar was born in 1955 in Chaves. He was the founder and director of Antena Radiante radio, Jornal de Chaves and Seman\u00e1rio Transmontano. As a professional journalist, he was a contributor to \u2018Jornal de Not\u00edcias\u2019, \u2018Com\u00e9rcio do Porto\u2019 and the daily \u2018La Regi\u00f3n\u2019, from Ourense (Galicia). In 2013 he published his first novel, \u2018Claro que n\u00e3o, antes pelo contr\u00e1rio\u2019.
