Nandinha, a seamstress, the emigrant Arlete M\u00f3nica and J.J., a burner, are unwittingly responsible for a situation they didn&#8217;t seek out.<\/p>\n<p>Terra Queimada is a reminder of individual responsibility in preventing and reducing the ignitions that, year after year, give rise to fires with great potential for destruction.<br \/>\nThrough art, the Municipality of Ribeira de Pena aims to raise awareness of the risk of fire, remembering how individual behaviour can affect the whole community.<br \/>\nThe show involves a team of 31 creatives and was developed by the Astro Fingido company as part of the Portugal Chama programme, promoted by the Agency for the Integrated Management of Rural Fires (AGIF) and the Northern Regional Directorate for Culture (DRCN).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terra Queimada is a show of theatre, music, dance and a great sense of humour that aims to raise awareness of fire prevention.
