During the month of August, the Municipal Library is hosting a creative painting exhibition by Carlos Ranna, a visual artist and illustrator who presents a wide variety of styles and techniques. Scheduled to open on Friday 2 August at 5.30pm, this public presentation is an invitation to introspection and artistic exploration, in a challenging and inspiring experience.<\/p>\n
The exhibition entitled “Fragments of a Soul. In good condition. Many kilometres travelled. Needs renovation” brings together a variety of illustrations featuring landscapes from the Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes region, human figures, faces and even skulls, works that invite unpredictability.<\/p>\n
Carlos Ranna is originally from Brazil, but chose the city of Flavi to live in. He has a degree in Visual Arts and experience in Graphic Design. He has studied with big names on the international art scene and has more than a decade’s experience teaching drawing and painting. He is the founder of the Est\u00fadio Alicerce Music Art School and the FundamentosdoDesenho.com Online Art School, and also teaches in person in Montalegre.<\/p>\n
This exhibition is organised by the municipality and admission is free.<\/p>\n
