The get-together will take place on Sunday 23 June, starting at 7.30pm in Rua Joaquim Mazar\u00e9m, in front of the Chaves School Centre.<br \/>\nThe 4th edition of this festivity promises to enliven the night of all the flavienses to the sound of popular Portuguese music, with the performance of the &#8220;Musical Norte&#8221; Group and a pyrotechnic display to continue the &#8220;bailarico&#8221;.<br \/>\nDuring the festival, there will be no shortage of the scent of basil, popularly known as &#8220;erva dos namorados&#8221; (lovers&#8217; herb), scattered around the stalls alluding to the celebration, a little pot that symbolises the festivities in honour of the popular saints.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The municipality of Chaves and the Parish Council of Santa Cruz\/Trindade and Sanjurge are continuing to celebrate the traditional St John&#8217;s Day, with lots of revelry, typical food, basil and entertainment.
