Ribeira de Pena | VIII Beça River Trout Festival in Canedo

Get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend full of excitement and flavor, because the long-awaited VIII Trout Festival is back.
On March 23rd and 24th, Canedo, in the municipality of Ribeira de Pena, will host an unmissable festival, with the highlight being the traditional trout fishing which will start at 8am. After fishing, participants and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a special lunch, where trout will be the main star, providing a unique gastronomic experience.
Saturday’s program also includes moments of faith and devotion with a solemn mass followed by a procession in honor of St. Joseph.
On Sunday, the event begins with an invigorating walk along the trout trail, followed by a performance by the “Rufas de Balteiro” drum group.
