SUMMARY:Chaves | “Rotary for Youth and the Arts” Charity Gala
DESCRIPTION:Next Saturday, 9 May, the Aquanatur Palace will host the “Rotary for Youth and the Arts” Charity Gala, an initiative organised by the Rotary Club of Chaves that promises to bring together culture, recognition and solidarity for a special evening.\nOrganised in partnership with the Chaves Academy of Arts and with the support of Chaves Municipal Council, the event will feature performances by the AAChaves Wind Orchestra and FORMA – Chaves Dance Studio. The gala will also pay tribute to conductor Luciano Pereira, whose outstanding career has put Chaves and the Alto Tâmega and Barroso region on the map on national and international stages.\nMore than just a cultural event, the initiative has a strong charitable purpose: all proceeds from ticket sales, priced at 10 euros, will go to the Chaves Academy of Arts Wind Orchestra, supporting its participation in the World Music Contest 2026 in Kerkrade (Netherlands), where it will represent Portugal and defend its World Champion title.\nThe session begins at 9.30 pm, with doors opening at 8.00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Rotary Club of Chaves Senior University or reserved via email at presidente@rotaryclubchaves.com, to be collected on the day at the venue.\n
