As a self-taught painter, Florinda Pereira Fernandes has now freed herself from formulas and metrics, exploring on the canvas the intuition and subjectivity that abstractionism allows, revealing that the precision of mathematics and the sensitivity of art can coexist in the same gaze.\nAbstract art is a style that breaks with the figurative representation of reality, focusing on shapes, colours, lines and textures to evoke emotions and sensations.
