DESCRIPTION:The Children’s Wind Orchestra of the Chaves Academy of Arts is a group formed as part of the ensemble class at the Chaves Academy of Arts, with the primary aim of providing musical and human development for the young students who make up the group. Since its conception, the orchestra has been a beacon of opportunity for the students, providing them with an environment where they can learn and grow musically. Under the guidance of teacher Tiago Soares, the students are guided through the intricacies of wind and percussion instruments, learning not just to play, but to express themselves through music. As well as providing a quality musical education, the Children’s Wind Orchestra also serves as a source of pride for the Chaves community. Its performances are eagerly awaited by the entire school community. At each concert, the young musicians demonstrate not only their technical skills, but also the passion and commitment that make them true artists. But the orchestra’s impact goes beyond the musical notes that echo through the various concert halls.
