DESCRIPTION:As part of the celebration of International Yoga Day, the Roman Bridge of Trajano will be the stage for various activities to be held on June 21 (Friday) at 7pm, an event organised by Chandra Yoga & Som, with the support of the municipality of Chaves.\n\nWith a class in this ancient practice and a meditative concert with Tibetan bowls and a gong, this event is open to the entire community of Flavi, with participation from 8 to 80 years old, and aims to allow residents to experience these contemplative self-care practices, making known the enormous benefits they promote both physical and mental health.\n\nIt is also a solidarity initiative for the Flor do Tâmega Association, where each participant has the chance to make a donation. At the end there will also be time to savour a vegetarian delicacy.\n\nFree registration, but subject to prior registration by 19 June at chandrayogasom@gmail.com.\n\nParticipants should arrive 15 minutes early and bring their mat.\n\nYoga is an important tool for promoting a sustainable lifestyle in harmony with the planet. It emphasises the values of discipline, attention, moderation and perseverance.
