DESCRIPTION:The Northern Regional Directorate of the Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth (IPDJ, IP), as part of its Cross-Border Cooperation and its participation in the Eurocity 2030 project, is presenting – under the motto “Culture and Identity – Music in Eurocity” – a series of “Music Sessions” and a “Masterclass” in music production at the Eurocity headquarters. The cycle of events kicks off on 7 June with an engaging performance by Inês Homem de Melo and João Costa, who promise an afternoon of captivating melodies and innovative harmonies. On 28 June, from 3pm to 6pm, we have Pedro Lima’s Music Session, part of Friendship Week, where participants will have the opportunity to feel the magic of his compositions and refined technique, offering an exclusive environment for learning and musical appreciation. This special event promises a day of celebrating cultural and musical ties between the cities of Chaves and Verín and, more specifically, between the north of Portugal and Galicia.
