CulturAT with shows in Alto Tâmega and beyond
On the 22nd and 23rd of July, two more musical shows were performed, under the scope of CulturAT Project – Touristic Promotion of Alto Tâmega through Culture, in the Municipal Auditorium of Verín – Spain and in the Praça do Município in Ribeira de Pena, respectively.
On July 22nd, the Academy of Arts from Chaves (AAC) headed to neighbouring Spain, with a concert of the “Orquestra de Sopros da AAC” which “married” the music with images of Alto Tâmega’s cultural heritage. A conjugation that made the 170 spectators present “shiver”.
On the 23rd of July, the municipality of Ribeira de Pena was the chosen stage for the concert of the Pontido’s Musical Band and the Academy of Arts of Ribeira de Pena which had about 200 people attending.
To remind that the CulturAT project is promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT), in partnership with the Municipality of Ribeira de Pena and the Ecomuseu – Associação de Barroso, and resulted from an application presented to the NORTE Notice 14-2020-25 – “Cultural Heritage – Cultural Programming in Network”.
