Banda Municipal de Valpaços presented “Non-conventional sound sources
Under the CulturAT project – Touristic Promotion of Alto Tâmega through Culture, the Municipal Band of Valpaços presented on last May 21st, at the Casino de Pedras Salgadas, the show entitled “Non-conventional Sound Sources”.
The initiative was attended by about fifty spectators, among which we highlight the presence of the Councillor for Culture of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, Ana Rita Dias and the President of the Parish Council of Bornes de Aguiar, Rogério Martins.
To remind that the project CulturAT is promoted by the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega (CIMAT), in partnership with the Municipality of Ribeira de Pena and the Ecomuseu – Association of Barroso, and resulted from an application submitted to the Notice NORTE 14-2020-25 – “Cultural Heritage – Cultural Programming in Network”.
The main objectives of the project are related with the dynamization, promotion and development of the cultural heritage, as a tool for differentiation and competitiveness of the territory of Alto Tâmega and, simultaneously, the support to the cultural sector of the region.
